ACR and the
environment
Sustainable development
– supporting future generations
Like all other industries, aviation must take responsibility for our planet. A fully dedicated ACR strives to ensure an environment that supports the present and future generations. Therefore, we work for sustainable development and contribute to improving identified impact areas within the UN Agenda 2030 and Destination 2050.
We will continue to be a driving force to significantly reduce aviation's environmental impact and protect sensitive nature and wildlife. Our actions will contribute to maintaining a good quality of life.
All employees undergo adapted environmental training, and special attention is given to new employees, gradually permeating the entire organisation. Our operational controllers learn the structure and underlying techniques to enable optimal approaches.
Through established SARPs, ACR mitigates the negative impacts of air traffic. Local air quality and, thus, human health is improved through procedures that reduce aircraft emissions and noise.
The products and materials we use shall be as environmentally friendly as possible and used in such a way enabling us to recycle ecologically soundly.
With climate compensation, we help, for example, to increase the production of SAF. ACR contributes by supporting the development of resilient agriculture that increases productivity and output, which maintains ecosystems and their adaptive capacity to climate change. ACR sees this as having significant potential positive side effects, such as sustainable transport and better working conditions.
ACR actively influence and pushes green development through our leadership together with our stakeholders.
