ACR UK
ACR UK was established in July 2025 with the ambition to extend the high-quality, cost-efficient, and tailored air navigation services of the ACR Group to the United Kingdom market. Built upon ACR’s extensive experience as a proven ANSP in Sweden, ACR UK combines the Group’s operational excellence with a local presence and deep understanding of the competitive and dynamic UK airport and Air Traffic Management (ATM) environment.
As part of the ACR Group, ACR UK forms a key component of one of Europe’s truly independent air navigation service providers—free from ownership ties to national ANSPs or large incumbent operators. This independence is fundamental to ACR’s philosophy: offering airports genuine choice, promoting competition, and bringing a fresh, market-driven approach to service delivery that challenges legacy structures and provides real alternatives.
ACR UK aims to provide the full breadth of ACR Group services – the same comprehensive portfolio already offered by ACR Germany and ACR Switzerland – including Air Navigation Services (ANS), digitalisation, consultancy, integration of new airspace user groups, new technology procurement support, and access to the wider ACR network of specialised aviation companies. This proven model enables airports to benefit from tailored, pragmatic and cost-effective solutions designed to meet their specific operational needs.
A core ambition of ACR UK is to achieve UK ANSP certification. This will be pursued on the basis of the robust, mature and internationally recognised management systems developed and implemented by ACR’s Swedish ANSP, adapted to comply fully with UK regulatory standards and requirements. By transferring established best practices and combining them with local expertise,
ACR UK seeks to become a trusted partner for UK airports – one that provides not only air traffic services, but also strategic guidance, innovation support, and long-term value.
